§ 13-1-40. Purpose.

The area located within the jurisdiction of this Chapter (See Section 13-1-9) is hereby divided into zoning districts of such number and community character as are necessary to achieve compatibility of land uses within each district, to implement the officially adopted City of Verona Comprehensive Master Plan, and to achieve the other purposes of this Chapter (See Section 13-1-5).
